Trustees being recruited

To support Town Break’s continued success, we are looking for up to six new volunteer Trustees to join our active team of board members. As we provide support to people with dementia and their carers we are looking for volunteers who have a passion for supporting those with dementia and who believe they could make a strong contribution to the charity.

Town Break is committed to recruiting a diverse range of Trustees and we would be delighted to hear from people with skills and experience in human resources, marketing, and evaluation & research. We would also particularly welcome applications from volunteers from an accounting background who could assist our current Treasurer.

The Trustee positions are open to adults of all ages however we would like to encourage young people considering a career in management to see this as an opportunity to gain experience of working at senior level. We would also like to attract a carer to join the Board.

Should you wish to speak with someone to discuss the role of Trustee further please contact Gail Barton, Development Manager by e-mailing gail@townbreakstirling.org by Friday 12th January 2018 at 5pm.   Please see the role descriptor here.  If you would like to apply, please click here.  We look forward to hearing from you.

Please note there is a three-month induction period for each new Trustee recruited, providing both the volunteer and the charity an opportunity to get to know each other.
